Bill Owens and his wife Janet, along with two sons, lived in Livermore, California, a suburban town 25 miles east of San Francisco, in the 1970s and early 80s. During their separation and divorce, Bill wrote more than 20 poems on his Royal Underwood typewriter. These poignant, honest, male-centric, and sometimes funny poems, written 40 years ago, capture the raw emotions of a marriage unraveling. (20 poems, 20 Linocuts)
